Repeaters

The 147.225 and 444.250 machines are located in Calverton, Maryland and are operated and maintained by John WB3GXW. They are believed to be the closest repeaters to the I-95/495 split North of Washington, DC. The 2-meter repeater is equiped with an autopatch. John generally opens up the autopatch on holidays as a convenience to travellers. Just give a yell for John or a control operator.

The Club uses the 147.225 repeater for its bi-weekly nets. The PL tone is usually disabled during nets to allow those without PL capability to participate.

The 442.500 machine is operated and maintained by the Laurel Amateur Radio Club in Laurel, Maryland. This repeater covers the Laurel area and is often used by the Club for our special service events.
